         Greg Nalewaja, has lived, and been involved with local communties in this area over 25 years. He has over 20 years of Honda experiance, and 8 American Honda Presidential Awards. He operated LaPointe Honda for 17 years, during that time LaPointe Honda was the largest volune dealership in N.C., winning 5 Presidential Awards, and maintaining the highest customer satifaction ratings. Then, in 2 years as GM for Crown Honda Charlotte, he won 2 more American Honda Presidential Awards, before joining Metro Honda of Union County. 

          Metro Honda of Union County has become one of the fastest growing Honda dealerships on the East Coast, maintianing highest customer satifaction ratings, and in 2008 was awarded the Presidential Award for being the top 15% Honda dealers in the nation by American Honda for meeting highest standards though out the store.

    Kris Childs, is a father of two wonderrful children. Living right here in Union County in the growing town of Waxhaw, and understands the importance of supporting our community. Kris has a special interest in helping support Union County youth sports, expecially after being a top high school quarterback. In College, at Greensboro College his leadership moved him into the starting quarterback position. Kris has carried this same type of  leadership with integriy into his career. Winner of 5 presidential awards, setting record breaking Honda sales, while maintaining the highest customer satifaction rating in industry.

    Kent Ewing has 30 years of Honda parts experience, right here on Independence Blvd. Kent grew up here locally, an is a proud father, while saving a little time to hit the local lakes for some Bass fishing. Kent worked with Greg Nalewaja for 20 years at the former LaPointe Honda in Charlotte on Independence Blvd. Where he won 7 Honda Presidential Awards, and built relationships with customers based on integrity for over 30 years.

    Nelson has 23 years experience in the automotive business.  He's achieved his Silver Level Council of Sales Award. His past experience includes Independence Nissan, Infinity of Charlotte, La Pointe Honda and AAA- Carolina Motor Club. Is a Union County Native, lived 45 years in Olive Branch, and still owns a home there.  Piedmont High Class of '77 - Go Panthers! Graduated from Appalachian State University (UNC - Tweetsie) in 1981.  He's the proud father of Jeremy (and wife Krista) and Joshua which both reside in Union County.  Nelson is an avid motorcycle rider. His latest pony is a Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Venture.

    Matt Hatfield has been with Metro Honda since September 2008.  He is originally from the mountains of Southern West Virginia and Southwest Virginia, but has called the greater Charlotte metro area home since 2001.  He is happily married and recently celebrated the birth of his first child, Peyton Elizabeth, in August of 2008.  A graduate of Virginia Tech, he has over 10 years of inside and outside sales experience, including 5 years with Honda.  Matt enjoys building long term relationships with customers and prides himself on a high level of professionalism and customer service both during and long after the completion of the sale.  Matt has 3 times been awarded Silver status by the Honda Council of Leadership program, a high honor for American Honda salespeople.  He enjoys the cozy family-like atmosphere of Metro Honda and looks forward to serving his customers for years to come

    Marcus is our newest addition to the Metro Honda family!  He lives locally in Monroe and a graduate of Independence High School.  Has also received his Bachelors Degree from Appalachian State in Psychology and Criminal Justice.  Marcus has previous sales experience with Mitsubishi.  He is a sports enthusiast and a huge Panthers fan!!  Come by and help us make him feel at home.

When he's not working he enjoys playing softball and watching Panther football!

Lynn has also been awarded the Platinum Level 2 for parts. We are very fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and experienced person in our Parts Department.
